We focus on improving the diagnosis of primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) using nasal NO, cilia speed and function analysis, mucolytic agents, IF, TEM, ALI ciliated cell culture and genetic discovery tools. Advanced imaging in human, rodent, and model organisms links ciliary dysfunction to diseases. We study cilia in lung transplants, infections, and chronic airway disease to develop translational strategies that enhance early detection, guide therapy, and improve patient outcomes.
